MAJI GIVING
Each purchase of a Maji product provides clean water for one person and completely transforms their life. And you get to witness all of it. Here’s how it works.
The gift of life-saving and life-changing clean water isn’t a temporary fix that will be outgrown, used up, or worn out and need to be replenished. It is a solution that will be felt and transform every single day for generations.
You purchase one product = You provide clean water for life for one person. Unlike many companies who give a “portion” of their proceeds to a cause or use a social good element as an afterthought marketing tactic, Maji was created specifically for the purpose of providing millions with clean water and we tell you exactly what we promise to give for each and every purchase. Even better – we let you be a part of it!
One of the best and most unprecedented parts of Maji giving is that you get to be intimately and directly connected every step of the way to the miracles your purchase creates.
Your Maji purchase kickstarts giving that allows you to completely transform lives.
1) Select and purchase your desired Maji product.
2) When your product arrives, use the QR code on the product packaging to enter contact information that will be used to assign you to a specific project and to send you pictures and video of the entire process of the project that your purchase made possible. If you purchased more than one product, be sure to enter your information for each one!
3) Maji will forward the cost of providing clean water to one person for each product purchased to our clean water partner, Family Humanitarian. Family Humanitarian is a legally recognized charity whose mission is to provide clean water to everyone, everywhere.
4) The specific water project your purchase contributed to will begin. To ensure clean water for a lifetime, each project goes through many phases including community education, maintenance committee set-up, drilling, development, training, and the opening celebration. Projects vary, but average time to completion is around 6 months.
